Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Scoop & Roll Dough: Start by scooping the dough into small balls using a cookie scoop. Roll each scoop between your hands until it is smooth, feeling the dough’s texture. This gets nice, round cookies. Avoid making them too large, as they will not fit perfectly in the thumbprints.
  2. Make Indents in Cookies: Press your thumb gently into the center of each cookie to create an indent. You want it to hold just the right amount of apricot jam without overflowing. Do not press too hard; a gentle touch works best to keep the cookies from breaking.
  3. Fill with Jam: Spoon the apricot jam into the indents you made earlier. The jam should look nice and full, but be cautious not to overfill. If you spill it over the edges, it could make a mess while baking.
